National Organizations

HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association): Home School Legal Defense Association is a nonprofit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.

NCFIC (National Center for Family Integrated Churches):  NCFIC’s purpose is to correctly understand God’s unified vision for church and family, rightly diagnose the problems that impede this vision, and effectively communicate biblical solutions that rebuild family-affirming churches. We do not believe that family integration is the only—or even the primary—issue in selecting or establishing a local church. But it is unquestionably a defining issue of our day as the modern church has lost the essential familistic culture that we see modeled in the New Testament.

Heritage Defense:  Heritage Defense is a nonprofit legal advocacy organization established to protect Christian families across the country against illegitimate and unconstitutional attacks on their parental rights by government agencies. Heritage Defense works diligently to defend the rights of parents and to shield the arrows that God has entrusted to us.

State Organizations

THSC (Texas Home School Coalition): THSC provides legal protection for Texas home schoolers. THSC is involved at a state level, helping to promote home school-friendly legislation and organizing grass-roots lobbying efforts of the Texas state government. They also Publish an “Alert” bulletin by subscription, a political and legal update; as well as a free magazine, “The Texas Home School Review”.

Regional Organizations

CHEACT (Christian Home Education Association of Central Texas):  The purpose of CHEACT is two-fold. First, to provide a Christian support group for parents and others involved and/or interested in teaching their children and to encourage the high standard of excellence throughout all the membership. Second, to further the appreciation of home schooling in the community through education and media communication.

FEAST (Family Educators Alliance of South Texas): We are a non-profit organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of home schooling families. This organization was officially formed in 1989 to serve as a clearing house of information and support services for the home schooling community.

WILCO FALCONS: The Falcons are a Christian sports organization serving home school families in the Austin area.  We offer baseball, tackle football, and cheerleading for ages 11-18.
